Reservations & payment

A request is not a confirmed booking. J.Dallis confirms availability, the service fee, and payment arrangements before accepting your reservation. Personal shopping requires a 50% deposit toward the confirmed service fee. Merchandise is funded separately before shopping begins.

Personal-shopping cancellations

Cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice before your confirmed start time for a full refund of your service deposit and any other payments for unperformed service. With less than 24 hours’ notice, the cancellation charge is 50% of the confirmed service fee, covered by your deposit. There is no additional cancellation fee; any service payment above that charge is refunded.

For a $90 reservation, the late-cancellation charge is $45. Unspent merchandise funds are returned. Authorized purchases already made are handled under the retailer’s return policy.

Rescheduling & missed appointments

One reschedule is permitted without a change fee with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Your deposit transfers to the new booking. Requests with less notice are treated as late cancellations.

If you are unavailable at an agreed appointment or delivery time, we will try to contact you and allow 15 minutes to respond. A missed personal-shopping appointment before work begins is treated as a late cancellation. Completed services remain payable; any redelivery charge requires your approval.

Pickup concierge

Cancel before we confirm that your shopper has been dispatched for a service-fee refund. After dispatch, completed travel and work may be charged up to the confirmed pickup fee, with any unused balance refunded. Applicable charges are disclosed before booking.

Purchases, returns & exchanges

Retailer policies determine merchandise return eligibility and refunds. We cannot guarantee a retailer will accept a return. Completed shopping or delivery fees are not refunded solely because an item is returned. A separate return or exchange service requires an agreed fee before work begins.

Cancellations by J.Dallis & refunds

If J.Dallis cannot provide your service, choose an available replacement time or a refund of payments for unperformed service. Authorized purchases already made are accounted for separately.

Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method within five business days. Your payment provider determines when the credit appears.

To cancel or reschedule, reply to your J.Dallis booking confirmation by email or text. Notice is measured from when your message is received to the confirmed start time, using Eastern Time. Nothing in these policies limits rights provided by applicable law.

Your request goes directly to the private J.Dallis order inbox. Personal-shopping requests with calculated pricing continue to a 50% PayPal deposit. Local pickup requests continue to full service-fee payment through PayPal. Custom quotes receive payment instructions after review. Payment and availability are verified before your booking is confirmed.
