J.Dallis Privacy Policy

This policy covers J.Dallis personal shopping and concierge services, the website, and the current app booking experience. Contact us at concierge@jdallis.com with privacy questions.
Information you provide
When you submit a request, we collect your name, email, phone number, shopping or pickup instructions, store and delivery details, service options, and booking preferences. Shopping requests may include your budget, sizes, fit, styles, preferred brands, substitution instructions, inspiration links, and photographs you choose to upload. Pickup requests include the order number, name on the retail order, readiness, and authorization instructions.
Website photo uploads are optional. The current native development version does not upload photographs or provide secure customer accounts or live chat. We will update this policy before introducing additional data handling for those features.
How information is used and stored
Submitted booking information is stored in our service database; uploaded photos are stored separately. We use information to review, arrange, fulfill, and support your service, communicate with you, reconcile payments and refunds, and maintain transaction records. The form records when booking policies were accepted. Unsaved details in the native development prototype remain in that session and do not create a customer account.
In the app test version, choosing “Save request & continue to payment” sends your contact information and request details through the app’s server to the same booking system used by our website. The saved request is available to authorized J.Dallis staff in the owner dashboard. A preview booking stays in the current app session and does not submit a request. Closing or reloading the preview can clear unsaved details, but does not delete a request already submitted to our booking system.
Payments and providers
PayPal and the payment methods offered at checkout process payments. Our payment integration handles amounts, request and invoice references, payment status, and transaction identifiers. Payment credentials entered through those providers are handled by them under their own policies. We do not ask you to put payment-card details or passwords into booking instructions.
Secure checkout may offer PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Preparing checkout saves a request and calculates its deposit or service fee; it does not itself charge you. Payment providers receive the information needed to process the transaction, including its amount and request reference. We retain the saved request when you cancel or leave payment, so it can be reviewed or resumed. Returning from a payment page does not by itself mark a request paid or confirm acceptance of the booking.
Cloudflare provides website infrastructure and storage. Calendly handles appointments made through its scheduling links. The website’s email signup uses a Brevo-hosted form. Payment, scheduling, and email services have their own privacy policies. Assigned J.Dallis professionals and relevant retailers may receive information needed to fulfill your request.
Technical information
Infrastructure and connected services may process IP addresses, browser or device information, and technical logs to deliver and protect their services. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the connection information needed to serve them. The website booking flow uses your browser’s session storage to keep a checkout link so you can resume payment. The app test version keeps its current receipt and checkout access reference in session memory. Neither creates a saved customer account. Checkout URLs may remain in your browser history; treat checkout links as private and avoid sharing them.
Email and your choices
Email-list signup is separate from booking. You can stop promotional emails using the unsubscribe option in those messages or contact us. Service-related messages remain necessary to handle a requested booking. You may omit optional shopping information and photo uploads.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide and support services and meet accounting, security, dispute, and legal obligations. We consider the record’s purpose, active service or dispute, and applicable requirements when determining retention. Deletion requests may result in removal of information no longer needed; records required for legitimate purposes may be retained.
Access to the owner booking inbox and uploaded-photo retrieval is restricted. Checkout uses private access references and server-side payment verification. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Access, correction, and deletion requests
To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you provided, email concierge@jdallis.com. Include your request number if available and describe your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or identification documents in your initial email. We may verify your identity before acting and explain any information retained for legitimate reasons.
You can also contact us at that address to withdraw consent for optional information or promotional communications. Tell us which use you want stopped. Withdrawing consent does not reverse processing already completed or require removal of records we must retain for accounting, disputes, security, or legal obligations. If the information is needed to carry out an active service, we will explain how your request affects that service.
Customer accounts are not currently enabled. This contact route is for existing booking data; it does not claim that a future account-deletion system is already implemented.
Other people’s information
Provide information about another person only when you have permission and it is necessary for the service. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information in instructions or photographs.
Policy updates
We will update this page when our practices change. The effective date identifies the current policy. New account, messaging, or upload features will require updated disclosures before release.
